This blanket is approximately 35"X40"
Texturally, this is one of my favorite blankets made. The center variegated yarn is worsted. The rest of it is so soft though. The dark purple is Lion Suede. The pink and light purple are Caron Simply Soft. It is just a soft soft blanket and I'm so happy for some little girl to receive this!

Crystle, wow. thanks for posting your blog link. Have to tell ya, i have been looking for that exact stitch for ages. My daughter received a blankie made with that stitch, and i tell you she wore the thing out! LOL She was always playing with the holes. :D
I am new to crocheting, i have knitted for years. Somebody is going to be very lucky to receive this loving afghan. Just thought you would like to know what my little one did with hers..:D
